British student looking for Brooklyn Room

I'm Josh, I'm 22 years old and I'm moving to New York in August from Britain to study an MFA in Creative Writing at Adelphi.

I'm also working for the university and as a tutor in Manhattan, so I can pay the rent and show you proof of employment too! I'm a writer, and love theatre, movies, music and art.
I've lived the student life in London for a few years and so now I'm looking forward to starting a more professional life in Brooklyn, and I'm a clean and conscientious person. I'll be working and writing most of the time, so there wouldn't be much noise or bother, but I'm also up for exploring the city and enjoying it's culture as much as possible. I'm a very easy going person to live with, and I was hoping to find some laid back, creative roommates to share with.

I'm looking to move in the middle of August, but I'm totally happy to pay any extra rent that I will miss from now.
