Description
Mature (54), nonsmoking, college educated woman (B. A. in English & Communications) seeking room in Manhattan. I am clean and responsible, plus consider myself considerate, kind, and easygoing. I have a steady income, always pay my bills on time, and would say I'm an all-around easy person to live with.
Probably the only objectionable thing about me is that I have a small (14" tall) dog. However, as I used to train and compete dogs in obedience and agility, she?s very well trained and friendly (and also cute!). She?s good with people, doesn?t chew on things besides her toys, and is very much house-trained.
My basic situation is that I?m starting over after a divorce and decided to move into NYC from New Jersey. I have friends in the city and have started taking different classes and volunteering with NY Cares, so I?m not some sad lady that sits around with her 14? tall dog and creeps people out. I have very little furniture and am about as far from a hoarder as one can be.
In terms of roommates, I?d personally love someone I can talk to and hang out with, but I?m also fine with a more hotel-like setup where we don?t interact as much. I?d prefer to live with a non-smoker (smoking outdoors is fine, though) and also someone who, you know, is not allergic to dogs. I also have zero hang-ups about race/sexuality/gender, et al, just in case that?s a prudent thing to say up front.
If you think I sound like a good fit, please be in touch!
