Hello, I'm a writer, actor, and freelance computer-based worker seeking residence in Brooklyn (or possibly Manhattan). I (as well as my friend, Inna, 35, who also needs a room, so we need to two rooms total) have excellent references, including former landlords of previous houses and rooms rented, my AirBnB host from New Jersey, my friend Cherie, who looked after my first house while I was in NYC in 2012 (so she knows how I keep a place up), and more. I have no pets, no criminal record, non-drug user, respectful, quiet, and organized, as is my friend who is seeking a room for herself along with me. As far as a roommate, we are looking for someone respectful and clean. Most pets and smoking are OK. We don't own any furniture (I moved here last summer from the Midwest, and Inna is from overseas) and require furnished rooms. Before moving in, we will schedule a time when we can inspect your available rooms in person and meet with you prior to finalizing any agreement.

I moved to New York early last summer with the aim to become a professional actor and writer. So far, so good. Inna moved here from the Ukraine in hopes of becoming a citizen and enjoying a solid, enjoyable future in America.
