Looking for a long term rental

My name is Kenneth, I am 24 years old, a non-smoker and probably best described as a light social drinker. I was born in America but spent much of my childhood in Scotland.
I have recently completed 6 months National Guard training and am currently employed by them on a full time basis in Yonkers. I will be away for further training during October and November then again January and February, however I will be looking to retain the room for the times I am home. That being the case, I would be looking to rent for a minimum of 6 months.
I am currently staying in Airbnb accommodation in Brooklyn which makes for a very long commute so I would like to move asap.
My hobbies include hockey and diving (I spent all of 2016 working in Thailand as a Divemaster) and I enjoy going to the gym, playing my guitar and online gaming.
I can be as social or scarce as required and I believe I make a good housemate
