I am looking for a room in Astoria for at least a year. I am 44, male, a tenured NYC public high school math teacher, clean, respectful, helpful, an avid pool player and love Astoria. I am generally very busy but don’t mind socializing now and again.
I would love a backyard/balcony , and am a smoker but never smoke indoors. I love pets (cats/dogs) and no longer have any of my own, but if you do, I don't mind taking care of your pet when you need help and are not around. I have children who I visit and they may stay with me occasionally (1/2 times maybe every two to three weeks, usually an overnight stay and leave early in the morning), so you should be ok with this. A 2 bedroom apartment is ideal but if more than 2 people then would need a 1.5/2 bathroom apartment.
