Brit working in VFX looking for a new place!

Moved from London in the summer and working for a VFX studio in Manhattan. I'm currently living in Bushwick but considering a move to a new spot.

I'm liberally-minded and would like to live with others who are too. I like to cook semi-regularly and would enjoy sharing some cooking with roommates but can happily look after myself. I like to to get out and explore but I enjoy quieter evenings in too. Occasional techno or disco nights are fun too!

I like to keep common spaces tidy and clean, particularly when others do too, and would like to live with like-minded people.

Maybe the most important factor is my long-distance girlfriend - usual resident in London but occasional visitor to the city. A place where she would be welcome to come and stay for a month is crucial. If necessary adjust rent accordingly.

Lastly, I recently bought a lovely bed and mattress, and put some time into customising a set of drawers that I'm now rather attached to, so would like to bring those with me!
