Hi! My name is Michelle. I am a young professional in my 20s. I am moving to the bay area for work and am looking for one female roommate interested in sharing a two/three bedroom apartment or small house/duplex for a lease starting around October 1st. I'm looking to live somewhere between Palo Alto and San Carlos.

A bit about me:
I'll be working pretty intensive hours at my new job (55-65+ hrs per week) which will be out of two offices in Palo Alto and the financial district of SF. I will have weekends off. In my time off, I like to watch TV, hang out with friends, play piano (I have a small electric keyboard that I play with headphones frequently), go swing or salsa dancing, play video games and board games, go out to eat, etc. I don't smoke, don't do drugs, and rarely drink. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle at home, and keep my spaces very clean and organized. I am generally a homebody though I do also socialize with friends to keep a balanced lifestyle. I do not have any pets, though am keen on getting a cat if I find that my work hours will support taking care of one. I am a night owl though my work hours will necessitate me leaving the apartment between 7-8a. Looking to spend no more than $2000 for my half of rent and looking for a 1 year lease. I have excellent credit. I like to socialize at home with my roommate and typically spend some of the evening hours chatting with my roommate during the week. I'm pretty easy going and easy to get along with. I've lived in many places and have become good friends with the three female roommates I've had in the past (each of whom I lived with separately in different two-bedroom apartments). I have furniture that I am looking to move with (couch, sofa chairs, coffee table, kitchen table set, bedroom set, desk, bookshelf, etc.), so please let me know if you also have furniture and if there would be room for mine, as I do not want to sell it.

What I'm looking for in a roommate:
A respectful, quiet housemate who is very clean and organized and would give a heads up when friends/SO are coming over (and I would do the same). No drugs, smoking, and doesn't drink excessively. Someone with good credit and a steady income large enough to support their half of rent/utilities. Would like someone interested in socializing at home (not necessarily to an excessive degree, but friendly chit chat over dinner or before bed, for instance) - if we end up becoming friends, even better!
