Looking for a room to rent

Hi, I'm Casey, and I'm looking for a room to rent, preferably in an apartment close to the L or public transportation. I'm a semi-recent college grad, so I'm happy to share a place with any number of roommates, any gender, any orientation.

I don't have a ton of furniture, so a furnished place would be perfect. I'd love a place with a washer/dryer, heat/AC, even a dishwasher (but I can easily live without one). And I'd love a place with cable or that's cable ready, but I'm happy to work with whatever's available. Wi-Fi/Internet is essential. I'm in job search mode, so I'm looking for a short-ish lease, somewhere from month-to-month to 1 year.

I'm cool with smoking and pets, and I'm a bit of a night owl, so I don't mind noise (although I'm pretty quiet myself). I'm a freelance writer, so I work mostly from home, usually unconventional hours (again, pretty quietly). I'd say I'm pretty easy to live with. I've had lots of roommates, and I'm happy to help out with chores, cleaning, etc. I'm fun, agreeable, and easy-going. I'm looking for some cool, down-to-earth roommates in a fun neighborhood.
