Moving to New York this August

Looking to find an apartment share with at least one other roommate. I will be moving to the city for the first time this summer from Kansas City for culinary school and I?m hoping to find a place for $800-$1000 for my portion of the rent. I will be going to school part time and working full time. I am kind and easy to get along with and I tend to keep to myself. But I do love to bake and cook and I love to share what I make. I am looking for responsible, friendly and clean roommates and hopefully some people that know their way around the city. I wouldn?t mind living with someone who had cats. I would love to find an already furnished room but it isn?t essential.
