Double room /studio furnished wanted

Hi,
I?m looking to rent a double room starting from the first week of July till end of January.
I live in London and I am in LA for a work contract for this period.
I?m looking for a place easy to get to Hawthorne (Manhattan beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach , Marina del Rey etc (hopefully with some public transport connection to Hawthorne - this is where the office/work is based).
I?m an easy going person, friendly, clean and respectful.
My hobbies: design (I work in design related field), art, love traveling, exploring new places to eat and shop, and gym (hopefully there will be one close to the place I?ll be living in).
