Friendly, but introverted Leo + cat for a new home

Hi all! My cat and I are casually looking for a new home closer to the city! I am New England born and raised (New Hampshire specifically), but currently live in the Valley. I'm paying a lot more than I'd like to live that far from where I work, though! I am a lesbian who would love to live with other LGBTQ+ folks but am also open to living with straight folx who are aware of their privilege.

I work in tech and am very friendly, but I generally tend to keep to myself unless prompted otherwise. I enjoy music, binge watching shows, and am involved in activist circles. I also enjoy astrology (as you can tell from the headline) but I don't care whether or not you are into it and am not one of those astrology folx who will judge you based on your sign haha.

My cat is very friendly with other people and is very cuddly and sweet, but doesn't do quite as well with other animals. That said, she's been living with a few dogs plus another cat the last few months so she is learning to adapt. As such, I would prefer to live somewhere without other animals for her sake, but other animals are not a dealbreaker!
