Living the NY life, without the hollywood budget

I'm a curious guy by nature, I wanted to study/work in New York since I started studying advertising. And now that goal will be accomplished. I'll be studying at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, I'll be doing a combined minor, doing both advertising and film. Ofcourse I want to make the most of this experience and everyone who fantasises about living in New York has the most glamorous ideas about the insane penthouses and apartments, but I know that I have to realistic, so I'd settle for a park-side room somewhere in upper east side. All kidding aside, I am not picky! I choose New York because of the international experiences, the city but most importantly the people. Looking forward to meeting you!
