I'm 35, British and gay and just moved to NYC in March. I've been living in the East Village until now but paying way too much to rent a small room so am looking for something right around this budget. I work in consumer intelligence and work pretty long hours Mon-Fri. My job is demanding and stressful and am also looking for my home to be calm, quiet and drama free.
I recently gave up alcohol and partying (five months sober!) and am going through a transformative period where I am focussing on my personal development and mental health.
