Friendly British guy seeking a room for short stay

Hello all,

I?m coming over to the US (Kansas) at the end of September, and I?m looking for a room to rent for a few nights before I travel down to Oaklahoma and stay there for another few (Oaklahoma also yet to be arranged, so if anyone knows someone there that?d be great).

I?ll be getting a flight from London to Atlanta on Sep 22nd, then connecting flight to Kansas. I am unsure as yet of the exact time / date but will be around 22nd - 23rd for a stay of roughly 3 nights.
The lucky person who takes me in will have to be a bit flexible with my arrival if that?s okay!

If anyone out there can help and wouldn?t mind renting a room (or even a barn) to a friendly and funny English guy, please get in touch. I?m very homely too and great when it comes to cleaning / cooking etc. (probably inspired by Bree in Desperate Housewives).

This isn?t your usual Spare Room ad I know, but I have always wanted to visit this part of the world. The culture, the architecture, even that brilliant accent have all inspired me to cross the globe and venture into the beautiful plains of Kansas and surrounds.

Most people I know are happy flopped by a pool in Spain, doing nothing. I would much rather grab my bag and go on an adventure.
So I have managed to get flights, I just need to find accommodation.
Can anyone out there help?..
