Full-time tenured and finger printed NYC DOE teacher. My partner works in construction. We work five days a week. Drug/pet/child/drama free. Super tidy and clean individuals.

More about us: We do minimal to no cooking; super health conscious; educated (Master's Degrees in Education and Engineering, respectively); we frequent the gym (5-6 days a week), enjoy going to museums, parks, restaurants, etc. We are not drinkers or partiers. I speak English, Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, and am currently learning French and Chinese. My partner speaks Spanish and English.

Our intentions are to save money long term, while ensuring that you receive your rent payments on time or a little earlier. For any concerns or questions regarding our decision to rent a room considering we are working professionals - the reason we are looking for a room rather than an apartment right now is because my partner is coming from a different state to move and I am moving out of a family member's home so we can be together. This is not a move on a whim - it has been pre-meditated, and therefore, rest assured, there will be no issues paying rent or one person leaving out of the blue. Also, we are not looking to start a family so no need to be concerned about a third person (child) taking up space in your apartment. This is simply a sacrifice as we see it as a long term investment.
