Looking for room in bronx

30 year old male, stable job, looking for a room for at least a year. Just looking for a spot to sleep when I come home from work. I can afford more for rent if it’s justifiable, but people tend to look at the maximum end of my budget and start their price at that for something in the hood. I don’t mind living in rougher area’s but please price accordingly. I won’t pay 1000 a month for a spot where studios go for the same.
