Writer/editor looking for room in Prospect Heights

I'm looking for a friendly houseshare in Brooklyn. I'm a writer and an editor on a national magazine, and I work every day in the city. I'm looking for a cozy place to come home to in the evenings and on weekends in Prospect Heights or Crown Heights or Park Slope (I already live in Prospect Heights and have made friends in the area). Ideally it would be furnished, with natural light and space for a desk.

Recently I've shared very happily with one female friend, making a little household of two, but I've lived in bigger houseshares when I was younger and am happy to do so again. I'm open to students and younger people but it probably makes most sense for me to live with another professional in their mid to late 30s. It would be great if my roommates were creative too.

I am respectful of boundaries but really enjoy living communally. I'm British so I like a cup of tea and a chat! I'm pretty quiet in my habits generally: writing, reading, watching movies, yoga. I don't smoke and I love pets: I've lived with some excellent cats and dogs so far. I'm also LGBTQ+ friendly, having lived with a queer friend in London.
