Looking for a room (1 month, plus possible 5mths)

Hi! I'm Daniella and I'm moving to NYC for a work training programme at the start of April. I'm looking to move in somewhere for a month while I look for a longer-term room rental in person as I'm not at all familiar with Manhattan.

So I'm looking for a room that's available for the month of April. If you've got a room that's free April to September, but would be willing to allow me to only sign up for a month until I've seen the apartment and area in person, I'd be very happy to move in for April with an agreed date by which we'd decide whether to sign on for the six months.

About me: I'm a pretty quiet housemate to have - I like to cook and bake, I enjoy running and gym, and my hobbies in the UK are singing and dancing. I'm looking forward to embracing new experiences in the USA too!

What I'm looking for: I'm pretty relaxed about roommates - ideally looking for people who aren't partying late in the flat (I like to be asleep by 11pm). A decent shared living area would be wonderful but not essential. I do need the room to be furnished as I can only bring very limited things with me to the USA and don't want to have to buy lots of things for only 6 months.
