Young Professional Seeking NYC Room!

I'm looking for a room in Manhattan from May/June, for either a short-term or long-term rental.

A bit about me: I'm moving to NYC from London in mid-May with my work. I work for a Life Sciences staffing agency and I'm part of a small team launching our new office. My hours are fairly long and I'll be in the office (located in FiDi) at least 50% of the time. I would like somewhere with space to WFH, ideally outside of my room. Please note, a lot of my job is on the phone, in case calls will bother you!

Outside of work, I'm really looking forward to exploring the city and getting to know my new home. In my spare time, I like working out (especially hot yoga and spin), trying new restaurants, travelling, museums and reading. I would especially love a building with a gym in it, but I don't mind too much.

I'm an outgoing, social person, but I also need my time to rest and recharge, and I like my home to be a relaxing environment. I'm allergic to cats, sadly, but open to living with other pets (especially dogs!). Ideally no smokers please. I like to live with people that I can spend time with, but also we can give each other space when we need. I enjoy a boardgame night in as much as I like a night out drinking cocktails!
