Looking to snag a finished basement

I’m transferring my masters program from Stanford to CU Boulder. I’m a 34 year old vet, and I’ll be doing the dual program for engineering management and mechanical engineering. So, I’m looking for a new pad. I have a dog (service), so he is exceptionally trained (I also have proof of where we trained). He is overly respectful of boundaries cats give him, which I appreciate. He gets along very well with other dogs after he warms up to them ☺️

I’m hoping to move in around the first of July, but I’m flexible to it being moved out. I will be working in my room a lot for school, which is why I need a very large room. I also thrive in the cold, so lower basement levels are perfect. Obviously, it would be ideal to have a bathroom down there, but you can’t always find everything lol. Im also okay with the laundry being down there, I just ask for a heads up of when people are popping in and out doing their laundry! A fenced yard would be amazing after being on campus for so many years.

I’m a big DIY person, and I have a lot of tools available for roommate use. I also have a lot of nice kitchen items, but I can put things in storage if needed. In my free time, I try to go camping, hiking, or hop in the car and see where I land. I’m very spontaneous in that sense. I used to run marathons and hoping to start easing back into running soon. I also have every spice you will ever need to cook with lol. #SpicesAnonymous

I’m looking to live with people who will also be interested in being friends, but it’s also okay if that isn’t your cup of tea. I’m pretty quiet for the most part, but I will have occasional projects that require tools. However, I always work around everyone’s schedule ☺️
