I'm a 60 year old freelance content editor and website producer, recently relocated to NYC. For the past several years I was renovating a historic townhouse in Albany NY, which I just sold.
Before Albany I lived in the Bay Area, and before that NYC and Paris. I'm fluent in French, speak some German and Hebrew, and have taught Latin.
When I was last living here in the 90s and early 2000s, I worked as a middle school teacher, and then an education technology trainer and coordinator. I'm planning to return to teaching full-time in the fall.
My interests include reading, writing, literature, linguistics, Zen meditation and practice, podcasts, film and other media, biking and camping. I don't drink, smoke or use drugs.
I have friends and family in Manhattan and Brooklyn but I'm open to all areas and have a flexible move date.
