Looking for a place to live from August!! :)

Hii girls!
I’m moving to New York for one year at the end of August and I’m so excited! I’m a 22 year old Dutchie and now desperately in search for a nice, fun and cozy place to live! If possible, it would be really really great if the place is already furnished.

A little bit about myself: I’m a graduated primary school teacher and got a job at a Dutch school in New York (’t Klokhuis). The school is located at multiple locations, so I’m open for a lot of neighborhoods to live in. I love to be surrounded by people, but I can also be on my own very well. I like to do fun things with friends and roommates like going out, watch movies, drink wine, go shopping, play games, going for a walk or go to the gym together! That’s also the reason I’m looking for a place with roommates, it’s more fun than alone! My English is fluent, and I also love a clean house.
I’m going to work fulltime so I’m looking for a place with people who are in their early careers/ just graduated.

My budget will be around 1500 dollars per month utilities included. The neighborhoods I’m open to are Midtown East, Chelsea, West Village, Jersey City, Hoboken, SoHo, Murray Hill, Kips Bay and Brooklyn. Other neighborhoods are fine as well, as long as they’re relatively safe and close to a metro. I depend on public transport so it would be great if that’s nearby!
