26-year old male looking for room under $1,200

I am a 26 year old editor looking to move to the area of Jersey City/Hoboken/Journal Square/Heights/Weehawken/Union City/West New York/Guttenberg. I’m available to move late July before my 7/31 lease expires and have a budget of $1,200/month. I don’t have a gender preference for roommates, ideally in 20s/30s. I work a 9-5 job on college campuses and WFH some Fridays. I like to cook, decorate with plants, and am diligent about immediately cleaning up after myself — I generally like to keep my things tidy and prefer roommates who also value a clean home. I’m happy to socialize with roommates and meet new friends, especially through games, but will definitely keep any minimal noise to myself when others need. I tend to go to sleep around 11pm and get up at 7am during the week. I’m cool with late nights, especially on weekends, but prefer not to live in a constantly loud environment where it’s tough to get sleep. I like bike rides, quiet writing time, and going to Broadway shows and Karaoke with my friends in the city. I also have a wonderful, friendly old tabby cat.
