Welcoming intro

Hi, my name is Christian Obika. My girlfriend and I are looking for a nice sized basement or room that is pet-friendly. We would love to have welcoming roommates/landlords that are responsible and clean & a place to call home that offers a reasonable commute to our jobs.

Little bit about myself:
I am currently working as an Operations/Tech & Office Coordinator for one of DC’s largest parking operators. Prior to that, I have worked in many other industries such as the video game industry(Entertainment Software Association), automotive industry(Auto Alliance) & lab diamond industry(WD Lab Grown Diamonds) over the span of 7 years. I have missed only 1 year of work during this time due to the pandemic which affected my credit terribly and I am in hopes to find a home that’ll allow me to catch back up. My girlfriend is works hybrid and is studying in cybersecurity.
I have a small 5 year old, staffordshire mix named Remy that is extremely loving, playful and friendly. About 45 pounds. Fully house trained, can be left alone and does about any trick or dog course. She has recently become a certified ESA pet!

We are multi-time renters. I have stayed in an apartment(Willow Lake apartments) and a couple of rooms in Lanham & Adelphi, MD. My girlfriend has lived in numerous states(currently in Alexandria), is well-traveled and speaks multiple languages. Our goal is to find a new home that is affordable, peaceful and offers a convenient commute to Georgetown as I attempt to repair my credit which has taken a toll from being out of work for a year during the pandemic.
