Room wanted in Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, FL

I have recently moved from New Orleans back to South Florida and I am staying with my parents until my new job in West Palm Beach begins August. I am looking for a quiet living arrangement for me and my 11 year-old sweet YorkiePoo. I can live with doggies if you have one, but regret I am allergic to cats.

I am a teacher, an indie filmmaker, and an artist. Ideally, I would like a large master bedroom so that I can put all of my things [limited] in my room with a walk-in closet. I would pay a little more than my roommate if it's the largest room. I have limited things to contribute to the apartment as I left most of my things in NOLA and would likely keep most of my things in my room. But, if you need things I do have two funky flower side chairs, a large TV and stand, and kitchen stuff.

I need to have my own bathroom that is not shared.

I spend time at home writing and editing my work when I am not teaching. I am often out with my family who live here. I watch a lot of TV for fun and to study structure.

I have been drawn to the opera, ballet, and theatre scene in WPB since I arrived.

Always up for sharing an Uber Eats midweek. Love to cook and open to sometimes meal sharing or going in for a meal share service if it makes sense for us.

I love reading graphic novels.

I am a moderate-liberal politically and prefer not to live with someone who wants to hang or promote any party agenda in the home for the election season, or hang political flags from the home.
