I will be working on my Ph.D. in applied math...

I will be working on my Ph. D. in applied math which will presumably take 5 years. I will be studying a lot and conducting research so a like minded individual that appreciates and respects privacy would be great. I get along with most people. I have a cat (Lilly) that is my best friend. I don't have any significant others. I am a little shy, but I am very progressive and accepting of all people. I am of mixed race (mother is Palestinian and Father is African American). Both of my parents are Professors of Chemistry at a University in Kansas. My dad is posting this add because I am busy teaching middle school students. However, I will begin graduate school at Stony Brook starting this Fall.
