Student Searching for Private Room Near NYU

Hi I'm Marshall! I'll be moving to NYC from Colorado in August to start at NYU Law School and am looking for a private room within a 30 minute commute from Washington Square in Manhattan.

My wish list:
- Room that fits full size bed or larger with room for a desk
- Closet space
- Ideally furnished, but I am open to unfurnished
- LGBTQ+ friendly roommates
- Washer/dryer in unit and AC are always a plus
- If a flex room, having a solid wall with a locking door

A little about me: I was born and raised in Colorado and enjoy many of the classic outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and running. I also like to read, knit, cook, and have friends over for mellow(ish) game nights. I value clean common spaces and having the apartment quiet late at night (after 11 or so). I have a long-term boyfriend who will be staying in Colorado, but will likely come to visit occasionally on the weekends.

I'd like to be friends with my future roommate but am open to just cohabitating as well.
