Spacious Room Available in Beautiful Neighborhood!

This apartment is pretty great. It's a 2-story, 2bed/1.5bath unit with washer and dryer in the building and off-street parking. The bedroom is 11.5'x12.5' (pic shows a CA King size bed in there) plus a nook area with a built-in desk (see pic) and ample closet space. All common areas are fully furnished, but the bedroom will be unfurnished.

The location is amazing, especially if you have a car. It's not ideal for public transportation, but definitely still doable. The neighborhood is quiet and walking distance to the grocery stores and restaurants in the Dimond District. The apartment is located right between the I-580 freeway and Hwy-13 (less than 5 minutes to each) and a short drive away from breathtaking hiking trails in one direction and Lake Merritt/Downtown Oakland in the other.

I am a female working student in my late-30s. I'm very friendly, but I often keep to myself because homework has taken over my life. Please appreciate a peaceful home environment! It doesn't have to be monastery-level quiet or anything, just "peaceful." I wish I could welcome a pet into the apartment, but sadly, the lease does not allow pets.

Water and garbage are included with rent, but internet and PG&E are not. They typically run less than $120/month for both and that would be split evenly.

Move-in would be March 1, but that is negotiable if an earlier date is preferred. There will be an application/approval process with my landlord (who is very nice and responsive). Move-in cost is the first month's rent plus security deposit of the same amount, totaling $2600. The lease is month-to-month and will require 30-days notice from either party.
