Serene Room in Musical Home

Hi there lovelies,

I'm now looking for a 3-month sublet in this beautiful abode! Option to be long term depending on the fit.

I'm a 28 yr old female musician Cal grad looking for another young professional to be my housemate. Available in April, lease is renewable in November. HMU if you'd like to safely see it in person!

The space is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom one-story house. It used to be a preschool I think, hence the large ramp. It is gated with a big front yard, high ceilings, washer/dryer, nice shower, big living room/kitchen. There is a gated driveway that we share with our neighbors. We have a piano in the front room. Not much storage space inside but there is a tall dresser in the room. I know the landlords and communication is good.

The neighborhood is the Golden Gate district of Oakland, near San Pablo. We are adjacent to a library and steps away from a local bar. Apart from the occasional traffic sounds, it's quiet and street parking isn't difficult. There is a 72/72R bus stop around the corner, and the nearest BART is probably MacArthur. About a mile away from the Emeryville AMTRAK station as well. (Think Bay Street, IKEA, Guitar Center, Emeryville Marina, my favorite brisket place, etc.)

ABOUT ME: I work at home, play music, practice yoga, and watch Star Trek a lot. Not a big baker but the counter space is ideal if you are. I'd love to find somebody I can sit and drink wine or watch a movie with. I am in regular contact with probably only 1-3 people, please be COVID safe.

Monthly rent for the smaller room is about $1300 a month. I'm willing to negotiate if needed.
