LOCATION:
The house is less than .5 miles from MacArthur BART and 4 train stops from downtown SF. Just one block from the 580 freeway and 2 blocks from the 24 highway, the area can get very loud. The house has dual-pane windows which completely dull the sound and this room is the quietest in the house. The house is also a short bike/scooter ride away to Downtown Oakland, Emeryville and Berkeley.

Neighbourhood:
Located in the Hoover-Foster neighbourhood of Oakland nearby North Oakland/Temescal, Berkeley and Emeryville. The neighbourhood is very urban with a diverse blend of people from all walks of life so we'd only recommend you inquire if you're comfortable with big city/urban environments. Some of our neighbours are houseless but have lived here for years, and some are new homeowners. They're all nice so a little smile goes a long way. Having STREET SMARTS is highly recommended. If you're seeking a quiet, suburban feel, this is not the right fit for you.
