Dog-Friendly House in the Hills

The bedroom is 200+ sq ft, with a private bathroom (recently updated), one garage parking space, and storage. The room has tree-framed views of the south bay, two closet spaces, and a south-facing balcony. The house is a two-bedroom, three-bathroom 1,500+ sq ft dwelling in the Oakland Hills. The shared areas include a kitchen, dining area, and living space, plus a sizeable up-sloping garden. Half of the kitchen cupboards would be exclusively yours as well as a storage space under the stairs. Currently, a large deck at the top of the garden with sweeping bay and forest views is being built.

The house is surrounded by trees (East Bay Regional to the north & east, Butters Canyon to the south, and Joaquin Miller to the west). The house is calm, safe, and clean.


About me & the pups, I work full time in the field of architecture and travel a bit, so you would have the place to yourself a fair amount. Also, I am from the east bay and appreciate the importance of a sound security system and friendly neighbors. The two Hungarian Vizslas are super kind and well trained. These pups are so gentle that they can carry a bird without breaking the line of a feather - while at the same time, apt hunters that double as excellent guard dogs. The room itself is not furnished, but the house is furnished with contemporary/modern style with blue-grey hues. The garden is a work in progress, but the goal is for it to be a water-efficient oasis.
