This room with a private bath is on City Island. I am looking for a professional; either actively working or possibly a medical student. Westchester County and Montefiore Medical Centers and Jacobi Hospital are all very close. This location is good for someone with a car that needs or wants to use it at times, or you can use public transit; the Bronx, Westchester and Manhattan is readily available 24/7 by bus or #6 subway line. Westchester is just up the road, a short ride away. City Island is very safe.

The bedroom is nicely furnished with a queen size bed, dresser, desk, and room-darkening curtains. The bathroom is yours 99% of the time, the only sharing is if a guest is visiting. The condo has a beautiful pier and dock plus outdoor deck and pool. The property is on the water and the community is very friendly. There is a 24 hour security guard and video camera surveillance on the property.

I’m an easy going mature woman with a good sense of humor, who’s looking to rent my second bedroom now that my child is grown and moved out. Basically everything is included except parking and laundry. There is plenty of street parking or you can rent a space from the condo. There are two laundromats a couple of blocks away. I have a dog and a cat who are both friendly.
