Seeking quiet, responsible and clean person to share furnished space/rent a large front room. Raised from the tree lined street, on the first floor in the Van Nest section of The Bronx. Laundry room, gas and Wi Fi included. Concerning AC and electricity, I'm initially including it in the rent. However, depending on the increase in the bill, due to usage in the hot months, you will have to pay for that difference commiserate to the amount. You're welcome to bring additional furniture, there's plenty of space if you have. Building has a lovely courtyard, 8 steps to the front door. The room faces east with lots of natural light, 3 windows and has a door for privacy. Near grocery, bodegas, library, schools, Aldi via the Bx39, fast food and 1/2 block from laundromats. East of the Bronx Zoo, New York Botanical Gardens, Arthur Avenue and Fordham University and 1 block away from Pelham Parkway. Neighborhood is safe, quiet and tree lined. Near the 5 train Morris Park stop, 2 train Pelham Parkway stop, D, 4 via the Bx22, Bx12SBS, Bx12 and the 6.
This is a perfect transitional home for a student or traveler. I'm open to longer term if it works out.
I'm a former classical ballet dancer, I work Thursday-Sunday, I will be traveling this summer on and off. I mostly keep to myself, but I'm not anti social. I keep a tidy home and serene home.
