Unfurnished room for rent

We are renting an unfurnished room (about 10 feet wide by 14 feet long...it does have a twin bed, if you wish to use it) in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx (on 184th Street between Grand Concourse and Creston Avenue). Close to several trains and busses (4, B, D, and access to Metro North and New Haven Line, and many Bronx busses). The building is a prewar walk-up (we live on the fourth floor). The apartment has three bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, and kitchen. The available room has a closet and on large west-facing window (with sunshine throughout the day). You will have access to the kitchen and may make full use of it along with the bathroom (of course!). The room is $750.00 per month for single occupancy or $875.00 per month for couples.

Who we are: I am (Jhasoa Agosto) a 39 year-old Musician and Educator. I am the music director at a local church and teach voice and piano lessons during the week. My mother Edna, 65 and is a retiree. Russell, a quiet fellow, who lives in our smallest room.

Who you are: We are looking for someone who has consistent work, reliable, responsible and laidback in temperament. We welcome students and young professionals. If you are an artistic type, this would just be icing on the cake. No heavy drinking, no drugs, no long-term stays for friends or family, and no crazy parties. Friends and family are welcome to visit.
