Mid 30's design professional seeks roommate for garden level, two bedroom apartment on a residential tree lined street. I travel frequently for work [bonus for you! I am not there all the time], but when I am home, like to grill in the private backyard and relax with friends. I'm easy going, 9-5er, love to bike, listen to NPR, and keep abreast of the goings on in the Marvel universe, and will consider pets as long as your animal is cool.

All utilities are included: internet, heat, hot water, electric, and cooking gas.

About the apartment...

You will have a good sized room, facing the backyard, can def fit a queen, and big walk-in closet. There is a big living room with a galley kitchen, full bath, another shared closet in hallway, an eclectic vinyl collection, a growing collection of mid-century modern furniture, Bosch washing machine and dryer in the apartment, massive private backyard with a grill with a smoker, lots of plants, and shade trees. There is a shed in the backyard to store stuff too, my old roommate would keep his snowboards in there.

Located in Mott Haven. There are new bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, Mott Haven Bar and Grill, Ceetay, Charlies, and others. There are a bunch of fantastic authentic Mexican and Dominican places nearby. There are a ton of local parks and gyms near the apt. There are about 3 [new one soon to make it 4] grocery stores and lots of fruit stands for healthy food.

Home to many artists and professionals alike . less than 15-20 min train ride to midtown east on the 4,5,6 lines or hit up the west side by going to the hub and you can catch the 2 express downtown. Also quick bike ride to Randall's island or central park and Harlem.
