Here's some critical information about the apartment, 350 Marcus Garvey Boulevard #4 in Bed-Stuy:

It's a three bedroom, two bathroom apartment. The new occupant would have the second bedroom, their own bathroom, and use the third bedroom as their tax-deductible office space or studio;

The apartment features great appliances, all very new and all Samsung, including the in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and ice-maker w/ filtered water refrigerator;

There's plenty of air conditioning and heating for the winter;

The living room has a television with almost all the subscriptions: Netflix, Hulu, HBO MAX/NOW, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, CBS All Access, Sling, Criterion Channel, Funimation, PBS Passport, and more;

Bike storage available;

The apartment is a fourth floor walk-up (it's honestly not that bad, and I carry my bicycle up and down the stairs every day. That said, moving your own stuff in is a feat!);

Monthly rent to one new occupant is a negotiable $1,550 (plus heat, gas, and internet) if they want to use the third bedroom as a home office and tax write-off and the second bathroom as their private bathroom. I am open to arranging a shared office if an individual wants to negotiate a lower rent.;

Monthly rent for a couple is a negotiable $1,800.

The move-in date is September 1;

The landlord is a pretty decent guy;

Pets are not permitted, but my current roommate has a fish and we haven't been booted yet;

The following is needed to move in:

- Security deposit and first month's rent

- Copy of your municipal, state, or federal identification

- Employment letter with income and time employed, as well as recent bank statements

- Credit report or documentation of your credit score (guarantors accepted)

I'm Krista C. I'm 33. I'm from Texas. I went to college in Chicago, I live in Bed-Stuy, and I work for a small web design and development studio in Dumbo.

My current roommate is moving to Italy!

I've lived in Brooklyn for about 6 years. 5 of those years have been in Bed-Stuy.

I keep shared spaces nice and tidy; the expectation for my roommate is the same.

I'm very COVID conscious. Hand washing after coming in from the public is a must as is social distancing. Visitors must be few and far between.

My interests include experimental, ballet, and Modern dance performances, cycling, and volunteering with immigration services.

I'm looking forward to finding my next roommate!
