I'm looking for a clean, responsible, professional, (preferably a non-drinker/partier, non-cigarette/cigar smoker, and male) roommate to move in my amazing spacious 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, 2 floor (duplex) apartment across the street from the Barclay Center on Pacific Street between 4th Ave and Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn.
Centrally located & 'Super Convenient': With the 2/3/4/5/B/D/N/R/Q and LIRR trains are across the street, and the A/C and G train stations a seven minute walk away, the place is very very conveniently located. Plus, just about anything you could need or want from Brooklyn, be it chain stores or a curated boutique, cozy tucked away mom & pop restaurants or a sizable, open late, grocery store, museums, parks, theaters, library, Post Office, even the DMV is a short few minutes walk away. It's a quality of life upgrade after which you'll wonder how the rest of the world manages without.
Facing East and having a skylight, this bright and sunny 15.5' x 11.5' (217 sq ft including closets) unfurnished bedroom easily fits a queen-size bed and a desk, sports a non-functioning fireplace, and includes 2 sizeable closets with plenty of shelf-space already provided therein.
This all hardwood floor apartment is the top 2 floors of a 4 story building. Both the bedrooms, the full bath, and a large central skylight are found at the top of the stairs. On the lower floor is an exceptionally large kitchen, ? bath, and separate living room (also sporting a non-functioning fireplace) which opens onto a balcony facing the Barclay Center. Shared kitchen, living room, as well as bathrooms. Only your bedroom is unfurnished.
This is a month to month agreement - you are renting from me, the lease and utilities are in my name. You can leave anytime if you need to (with at least a month's notice), but I prefer someone who plans on staying for at least 6 months. 1 month deposit of $1500 plus first month's rent of $1500, a valid driver's license, job information, 3 references I can call, and 'good credit rating' proof through one of the free credit checking websites to move in. The space is available to see right away. We will split the utilities and household expenses which range from $50-$150/month depending on usage.
