My previous roommate moved out and I?m looking for someone to fill in his room. The lease would be a year long and can start anytime between now and Sept 1st.
About the room:
Large window provides lots of sun. Able to fit a queen bed. The adjustable frame in the photos is currently setup for a full bed. Large closet and plenty of storage space. All furniture in the room is available to take, or I can get rid of it if you want it completely unfurnished.
About the apartment:
Has a large, open living room/kitchen (~11 ft x ~20 ft) with high ceilings ~8 ft. Large windows in the kitchen let in lots of light. Thermostat to control central heating. PA system allows you to talk to people outside/open the building door from our unit.
About the building:
On the first floor of a 2-unit building. Has a storefront on the bottom floor that is currently unoccupied. Neighbors are quiet and barely around. Landlady is very nice and responsive, and has a dedicated plumber and handyman. Has someone put our mail into our mailbox, take out the trash, and clean the hallway/stairwell.
About the location:
Right on Atlantic Ave in Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill area. <10 min walk to A/C/F/G/R/2/3/4/5 trains, Two stops into Manhattan, ~5 min train ride to FiDi, ~20 min ride to Midtown. ~15 min walk to Atlantic Ave Barclays. ~15 min walk to Brooklyn Bridge Park. 2 laundromats, Trader Joe?s, and Keyfoods within 3 blocks. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and bars around. Neighborhood has lots of life but isn?t too loud at night.

? 1 year lease, no subletting
? My landlady requires an application ($150) and will run a credit check. Must make at least $50K/year.
