About me:

I'm a 27-year-old film journalist from Austin, TX. I've been in New York for almost two years, and in this apartment for almost one. I love the arts. I'm usually watching a movie or listening to an album, reading, or writing while I'm home. When we're not in a pandemic, I'm on the go a lot of the time, hopping around coffee shops to write, going to movies, hanging out with friends, and just generally exploring. I love exploring New York City. Food, coffee, cocktails, beer, and wine especially. As a result, I rarely cook, which means the kitchen is all yours (it's small but nice!). I'm active. Basketball and tennis are my exercise of choice. I'm very social. I typically go to bed between 1-4am and wake up between 8-1030am. But, my past two roommates had completely different schedules and we never had a problem. One of them would wake up at 6am and go to bed at 9-10pm and we lived incredibly well together. Plus, my room is away from the other two. I hope to be at least casual friends with roommates. I've noticed I like situations where I'm friendly and comfortable with my roommates much more than ones where we just occupy the same space. So ideally, we'd have some stuff in common. I?m very chill, all about balance, and I appreciate a clean apartment (not a neat freak though).

What I?m looking for in a roommate:

Mid-20s to mid-30s. Someone with a full time job or who?s in graduate school full time. LGBTQ+ friendly, Someone who?s comfortable with men and women roommates. More than anything when it comes to roommates, I value open communication.
