I’m moving out of my current bedroom in an amazing downtown Brooklyn/boerum hill pre war apartment! The room itself has a huge closet, room for a queen sized bed as well as additional furniture. The apartment comes with a furnished livingroom, with super high ceilings and beautiful pre war details. The apartment is super sunny, spacious and an amazing deal for the neighborhood. Lots of great local restaurants, gyms, access to pretty much every train line (10 minutes or less to downtown Manhattan). My current roommate is a kind, quiet software developer who is big into working out and basketball. He works from home but is almost always working from his desk set up in his bedroom. It hasn’t been an issue having two people work from home in the apartment at all. The apartment is pet friendly, utilities not included in rent but usually around $80 for internet + heat and gas per person.
