Requirements to move in: First month and last month plus references, I. D. and proof of employment/income. I am looking for someone who works/studies outside the home. Minimum stay 3 months, though I would prefer someone looking to stay longer.
First and foremost, this is a home with a calm and peaceful atmosphere in a safe neighborhood.
The room is painted white. There is a large window (no view but gets light), closet, dresser and mirror. Also a table and chair if you need it, and a nightstand and lamp. Most people like to bring their own bed. If needed I can supply a single futon bed and frame.
I have been successfully renting out bedrooms in my apartment for many years as I?m in a great location just down from the park and around the corner from the Seventh Avenue F-train. The apartment itself is graceful and quaint, located on the ground floor of a four-story building with a laundry room in the basement. We are also accessible to the R train, the 2 and the 3 trains. It?s only 20 min. to lower Manhattan, 35 min. to mid-town. The many wonderful shops and restaurants of Park Slope are only a short walk away.
About me: I am a mature woman (writer/artist) with two cats. We share kitchen and bath. It is a quiet house and I am looking for someone who likes quiet, does not need to invite friends or family over, and appreciates positive energy. If this is you, I would love to hear from you.
