About the apartment:

The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, fully loaded kitchen (including dishwasher), beautiful shared balcony, built-in bookshelves in the hallway, a pantry, plenty of closet space, and a ton of natural light. Our landlord lives next door and is very responsive.

About the room:

Large room with a BIG closet and a window. The room is $815/ month (+$815 security deposit), utilities are split 3 ways, and average roughly $50 a month per person. Move-in is February 1st, roommate will take over the lease from me. Long term stay is preferred (1year min)

After living here for nearly 1.5 wonderful years, I am moving in with my partner or otherwise I would stay here for many more years since the apartment is great.

About the roommates:

2 professional women in their mid/late 20s. One works full-time, and the other also works and it's in nursing school, and both have robust social lives, but enjoy each other's company and see the apartment as a warm sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of city living. We are very organized and enjoy keeping the space neat, but still homey.

About the neighborhood:

Windsor Terrace is a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood snuggled between Prospect Park and Greenwood Park. 2.5 blocks from the F/G trains. Close to Park Slope and ~35 min to Manhattan by train. The neighborhood has a number of pubs, bars, restaurants, and cute shops so there is lots to do close to home as well.
