About us

I am a pastry chef who has a fluctuated schedule and I am only home about 3/4 days a week. The other room is occupied by a male (whom is my best friend since childhood) but he works out of the country about 75% of the year. He is currently out of the country so technically it?ll just be me and the new roomie occupying the space for a while. We have EXTREME OCD, so we are constantly cleaning and making sure the place is tidy. Whenever we end up having the same day off and we are in the apartment together, we tend to cook, drink wine, and relax. We are not loud, and we don?t have parties or guests, usually only our partners whom might visit once in a while. Other than that , we are very private, very respectful of privacy, and very chill. We are LGBTQ friendly. Unfortunately pets are not allowed.

About you

We are looking for a down to earth female roomie who shares the same qualities and attributes as us. You must be extremely clean, respectful, but most of all, extremely chill. Guests are allowed but please, no parties. You must be responsible and spot on with rent payments. We want to make sure you?re comfortable and we?re comfortable.

About the apartment

The apartment is 3 bedroom 1 bath on the top floor of a 3 floor building. Right above us is a nice rooftop where you can grill, relax, smoke, chill. Your room has 1 window that faces the back of the building. Your room can fit a full/queen size bed max. There are no ?walk in? closets, so each room has a a closet system that we built in them. The apartment currently has no furniture in the living room because we each hang out in our rooms. If you would like to setup the living room for your pleasure, you are more then welcomed to. The kitchen is very modern and clean and your are welcomed to cook whenever you like. We have all kinds of utensils. The room price is $850 without utilities included. The Utilities you will need to pay is electricity and WiFi. On average, Electricity runs about $40-50 per person and WiFi is $20 per person. Move in date is September 1st, 2020 and you would need to sign a 8 month lease.

The neighborhood

We are located in crown heights, Brooklyn (GPS says weeksville). There are bodegas and markets on every corner, literally. There is also a supermarket right around the corner and tons of places to eat. The A/C/3/4 trains are about 10 minutes walking distance. There is a B47 bus right on the corner that takes you straight to the train station. The B15, B65 are also around the corner from the house. Fulton street , Barclays , prospect park, and the Brooklyn museum are all 4 train stops away. The LIRR is about 15min walking distance on Nostrand Avenue train terminal.
