I am looking for a housemate who will take the unfurnished, large, and luminous bedroom in an in turn of the century home with a rooftop garden and make it their own. Can move in any time in June or early July. Rent is $875 not including utilities, a deposit is required as well to move in.
Close to A and C trains on Fulton, and the Jay Train at Halsey and Broadway. There is plenty of parking available and the bus lines include the B56 and B47. We are surrounded by friendly neighbors on a quiet block and inundated with a diversity of restaurants, cafes, and trendy specialty markets that rival Trader Joe’s and Wholefoods.
I am a grown-up woman, a well-traveled, cultivated woman who has been a writer in the entertainment industry and presently helping myself and others build solid investment portfolios to financially secure their futures. I am continually curious and interested in -- the arts, music, social and racial justice, comedy, and good pro- and pre-biotic food and drink.
Looking for someone who is happy with themselves, easy to get along with, kind, respectful like it is a sin not to be, does not mind cleaning and keeping things organized, and not allergic to cats…as I have a super one. The room is full of storage space, and original moldings, a fireplace, wood floors, and large windows. It can be available as a short- or long-term rental.
