Pleasant room in Brooklyn Heights - great location

Looking for a responsible, quiet roommate for 4-6 months. Open to extending the time frame, depending on circumstances and how things work out....

I prefer a woman roommate but would consider a gentle man. I expect to be working out of town for most of that time so you would likely have it mostly to yourself. The only shared space is a very large kitchen with a sitting area. I sleep and hang out in the private living room in the other end of the apartment.

This is an old, not a luxury building but it is quiet, safe and affordable. The room is 10 x 12 ft, has a double bed, dresser, bookcase and ceiling fan. There are 2 wardrobes just outside the room for your use but not a lot of space for extra storage.

This is an excellent location, close to Pier 6 of Brooklyn Bridge Park, a Ferry, Borough Hall with lots of trains, Sahadi's, Trader Joe's, etc.

I prefer someone who is emotionally mature, cleans up after themselves, and pays the rent without being reminded. During this emergency there should be limited visitors. Until things change, the times I am there, we should both be COVID-careful.

Utilities are $60/month (less if no internet). One month utility security also. Will ask to speak with references.
