Large, and naturally-lit bedroom, with a full closet, available in Brooklyn Heights. The room has plenty of space for a queen sized bed, dresser, bookcase(s) and desk/chair. The apartment has high-ceilings and oversized windows throughout. We also enjoy a welcoming kitchen with full-sized dishwasher and island with bar seating, and a roomy, fully furnished (but open to redecorating!) common living area. The apartment includes many household appliances and cookware. The three bedrooms are well spaced throughout the apartment offering everyone privacy, and sound protection, for those working from home. This apartment is a steal for the neighborhood in terms of rent and space!
Brooklyn Heights is a quiet yet vibrant neighborhood with proximity to great restaurants, gyms, groceries, pharmacies, nail salons, and dry-cleaners. Key Food is only one block away and Trader Joe’s is a short 10-12 minute walk. For those working in the city, we are the first stop in Brooklyn on the 2, 3, 4, 5, R, A, and C, and a 5 min walk to the ferry. For those who work from home, the apartment is a mere two-minutes away from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Brooklyn Bridge Park; and a short walk from several great coffee shops. We are looking for a young female professional (mid 20s-30s) to join two existing female roommates. No pets, please.
The existing roommates are an educator and speech pathologist who will be working full time in person next school year. This apartment has long been lived in by roommates who are warm, quiet, and clean; who enjoy each other's company but also appreciate having space and time to themselves. We hope to maintain this friendly and peaceful atmosphere moving forward. We are both vaccinated and are looking for someone who is responsible and thoughtful about his or her health/behavior.
