Description
*Available September 1st * LGBTQ Friendly*
A private and spacious 2-room combo is available in my Bushwick apartment starting Sept 1st!
The apartment is a unique railroad setup where we each have our own bedroom/living room combo and then share the kitchen, bathroom, and a walk-in storage room/closet that?s between our private spaces.
Your space has a private entrance from the building?s main hallway, and you will walk through the main building hallway to enter the kitchen and bathroom, however we?re on the top floor (3rd) so you won?t bump into any neighbors.
- Rent: $1275 (+ an additional $75 during summer months for the air conditioner)
- 1 year lease, Sept 2020 - Aug 2021
- Security Deposit: $1275
- Utilities: $40 for internet. All other utilities are included in the rent
- Pets: Small dogs are possible with a pet fee to the landlord. Unfortunately, no cats allowed.
- Laundry: Laundromat right across the street
The Location:
We're 2 blocks from the Myrtle-Wyckoff L/M trains and the B26, B52, B54, B55, B58 and B13 buses.
There are coffee shops nearby (Altitude, Mixtape, Milk & Pull), a delicious bakery (L'Impremeri), a Food Bazaar and C-Town grocery store, a bodega right off the train, a handful of bars and it's an easy walk towards Dekalb and Jefferson where there's even more.
About Me:
My name is Chris and my pronouns are they/them. I?m an early 30s queer photographer and poet. My day job is working in tech which I?m currently doing from home M-F during this pandemic.
I'm a quiet, low-key person at home who enjoys their alone time, which the apartment layout is advantageous to, though I also appreciate a roommate who I can socialize with and share our days when we cross paths. And during these times, remind each other that we?re alive and we?re human because, boy, isolation :)
Looking For:
I'm looking for an LGBTQ-identifying person or ally to join me in taking COVID-19 precautions to keep us safe, someone who is respectful of the home and each other, tidy in our common spaces, and willing to contribute to house responsibilities such as cleaning the bathroom, buying shared house items and taking out the garbage.
If this feels like a fit, please share your name and pronouns, a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a home/roommate and a link to social media. I'll be happy to share mine in return.
Due to COVID-19, I?ll be starting with virtual tours of the apartment and if it feels like a good fit, we can go from there.
