I have an open room in this beautiful, newly renovated townhouse located on West 9th St. in Carroll Gardens. This second-floor walk-up apartment features a gas range, large pantry storage, central AC and heating! Both southern and northern exposure provide great natural lighting throughout the year. It's a seven minute walk to the F/G West 9th St. station, and the area has wonderful restaurants, wine shops, butchers, breweries, etc.

The room is approximately 9' x 14' with ample closet storage, one large window, and hardwood floors. Rent is $1175 + monthly utilities. First month's rent plus a security deposit is required to move in. Sadly no pets or couples are permitted. Move-in is flexible any time after mid-July. LGBTQ+ friendly!

Shared living area is furnished -- essentially one large kitchen/ sitting room with TV. Bathroom is also shared.

About me: I'm 30 and work as an architect in the city. I'm originally from Maine, but bounced around the country for college and grad school before settling in New York. I drink, I collect art and furniture, I like to entertain and cook - generally looking for someone to share a chill/ drama free environment. The apartment is pretty nice and well maintained, so I'm looking for someone who is reasonably clean and can add to the atmosphere in a positive way!
