Sunny & spacious bedroom in new apt - June 1

Hi! I'll have a furnished (or unfurnished if you prefer) room available in my 2-bedroom apartment, beginning June 1st.

The apartment : brand new, gut renovated! 2nd floor of a small building, prime Bedstuy. The apartment has a beautiful open kitchen and a private patio. There is laundry in the basement. Located directly across from the G train. I have lived in this neighborhood for nearly 5 years and I love it.

Me : I'm 32/F, speech therapist, originally from Portland, OR. When I'm not working I enjoy cooking, reading, biking, drawing, painting, yoga. I am a Gemini.

Ideally I would love to find someone looking for 5 months (the lease ends Oct 31) but am flexible & open to a shorter term arrangement. A good fit would probably be someone who is generally laid back, friendly, mindful, respectful. Must be ok with dogs - I have a small pup. Definitely looking for someone who appreciates a happy & peaceful home environment. No couples or pets please (sorry!) The monthly rent is $1500 + 1/2 utilities ($1600 total).

Re: quarantine, my approach is to wear a mask whenever I?m outside with Josie (dog). I also try to go for a bike ride with friends once a week. My current roommate and I have been both working from home and agreed on no visitors. Happy to revisit this convo with you...
