Hello!

I’m moving out of my home of two years and offering my room for sublet for the month of May. You’ll be able to continue onto the lease starting June 1.

ROOM
The room is medium-sized for NY and can fit a full bed, desk, and possibly a dresser, leaving ample room for a yoga/workout mat. The best aspects of the room are its high ceilings and full-sized closet, as well as the fact that it’s quite private. Depending on cloud cover, the room can get excellent natural light. The room is right off the apartment entrance, and a hallway/two full bathrooms separate you from the other two bedrooms.

APARTMENT
The apartment is in Crown Heights, on the 2nd floor (walk-up) in a 6-unit building. Wonderful spots like Rosalia’s, King Tai, and Nostrand Pub are on the same block. You’ll be steps away from pretty much everything you need, including several well-known brunch spots & bars. It’s also just a short walk from Franklin Avenue.

This spacious apartment has been fully renovated in recent years and includes an in-unit washer/dryer and large kitchen/living room. You will share a bathroom with one other roommate.

ROOMMATES:
You’ll have two lovely roommates who generally keep to themselves, but welcome conversation.

One is in her early twenties and works full time in the restaurant industry. You’ll share a bathroom with her, but you won’t see too much of her, due to her schedule.

The other is a 29-yr-old designer in the fashion industry, currently working from home (in her room) most days. She enjoys baking and cooks for herself a couple times a week. She has a tuxedo cat, Frida, who mainly stays in her room, but sometimes ventures out to the living room.

Both are tidy and would expect the same from a potential roommate.

MOVE-IN REQUIREMENTS
Security deposit and rent is required to move in, totaling $1800. You’ll sign a landlord-approved sublet agreement.

Preference given to those looking to stay long-term/sign the lease.
